Professional translations are still carried out almost exclusively by humans, but tools such as Google Translate or DeepL have become much better and are used in a variety of scenarios, from being tools for human translators to as-is use in certain leisure or business settings. When will human translators become unnecessary?

Since the answer might be very subjective, this market will resolve when at least three EU countries admit machine translations as certified translations. This may be too low a bar, since documents translated in this way are often formal and schematic; or too high a bar, since states tend to be conservative and slow to allow new technologies to be used. I have picked the EU since most EU countries currently require certified translations to be performed by certified translators, in contrast to the UK/US; only such countries would count for the purposes of resolution.
