How will legal immigration change before 2029? During his appearance at the All-In podcast on June 20th, 2024, Trump said he would give every international graduate a green card,
' what I want to do and what I will do is you graduate from a college, I think you should get automatically, as part of your diploma, a green card to be able to stay in this country. And that includes junior colleges, too. Anybody graduates from a college, you go in there for two years or four years. If you graduate or you get a doctorate degree from a college, you should be able to stay in this country.'

I would bet at below 90% against that specifically happening. But maybe H1B? Seems unlikely as well. In any case, I'd like this market to be a collection of actions the US government takes to change legal immigration before 2029. That's not dependent on whether Trumps lives until then. But having his name in the question helps. ๐
I'm not super familiar with the US system, but I'd like to limit it to bills and executive orders as well as similarly unambiguous actions (open for suggestions in the comments), as opposed to 'the secretly slowed down green card processing'. Individual options would resolve as I'm made aware of that action being officially taken (signed bill or executive order).
Feel free to add options or suggest them in the comments if you want to save mana.
