Many are suprised that the 2023 refresh of the iMac left the magic mouse untouched, with it still charging on the bottom via lightning adapter. When Apple does finally release a new version of the magic mouse, will it have more substatial changes than just a port change?

This market resolves YES if the Apple releases a magic mouse, or a new touch enabled mouse that is included with iMac under a revised name, that has new features or a redesigned form factor other than charging via a non-lighting port, or a charging port in a new location, or charging by

If all the changes fall in this list, the market resolves NO:

• The port is moved

• The port is not lighting

• There is no port and the mouse charges wirelessly

• New color

• "New" form factor that is substanitally similar to the old form factor (10% lighter, 10% thinner, new material but same shape, etc...)

• New software/ software driven features requiring no hardware changes aside from processing improvments

This poll will stay open until a new magic mouse is announced.

As noted above, if the name of the mouse is changed, the default mouse included with iMac will be judged in its place.
