Kyiv assures the White House that it would not deploy second-hand Australian warplanes into Russian airspace if dozens of the retired F/A-18s are transferred to Ukraine.

Will the transfer go ahead? This market resolves YES if one or more F/A-18 Hornets that were previously the property of Australian authorities are transferred, with Australia's agreement or facilitation, to be physically present in Ukraine and under the control of Ukrainian government or military authorities, in 2023 or 2024.

It resolves NO at the end of 2024 otherwise.

Any Hornets already known to be present in Ukraine at market creation do not count.

In the interests of timely market resolution, any Hornets transferred to Ukraine before 2025 but without reliable reports confirming this before 2025 will not count - this market will resolve based on the state of public knowledge at market close regardless of the possibility of a transfer having taken place unbeknownst to the public.
