The French Constitution allows the President of the Republic (currently Emmanuel Macron, could be someone else if Macron were to resign) to dissolve the National Assembly. After such dissolution has taken place, there cannot be another dissolution in the next year. Starting June 10th 2025, the president will regain the right to dissolve the National Assembly.
