
There are numerous counties across the country making noise about this, 27 counties in Illinois alone, but how seriously should they be taken?

I initially resolved this to NO, but I've unresolved to give an opportunity for providing more examples. I think this is a clear NO though - the only example I could find is the Illinois counties, which are merely "correspond[ing] with the boards of other counties of Illinois, outside of Cook County, about the possibility of separating", not actually attempting to secede.
@traders @mods will need to resolve this market. Below, I see the example of some counties in Illinois. I'm not sure that will count as sufficient, but when mods make a ruling, are there any other examples they should consider?
