I want to know what counts as control of the judicial branch and what counts as control of the legislative branch.

supreme court republican majority would be the typical meaning of judicial branch control i think?
senate majority would be the typical meaning of legislative branch control i also think?

acc nvm, maybe senate and house majority would be required for republican legislative branch control? I don't rly know how the us government works but that would be my guess at what ppl typically mean by it

is "control of the judicial branch" simply counting the number of SCOTUS appointees by presidents of each party?
