This market ranks the following 2025 horror movies by a composite score made up of three components:
Letterboxd rating (average user rating as of October 1, 2025)
Metacritic score (critic score as of October 1, 2025)
Domestic box office gross (total U.S. earnings as of October 1, 2025)
Each film will be ranked 1 through 7 in each of the three categories. The #1 film in each category gets 7 points, #2 gets 6 points, and so on. The film with the highest total score across all categories will be selected as the winner. In case of a tie, Letterboxd rating will serve as the tiebreaker, followed by Metacritic, then box office.

Weapons (August 8)
Resolution will occur on or shortly after October 1, 2025. All data will be publicly available on Letterboxd, Metacritic, and Box Office Mojo.

@Cogsdoc it was an interesting question! (and clearly hard to predict, given that the presumptive winner was <<5% for most of the market duration). albeit maybe too tedious to actually try and calculate out the exact details (hard to get that balance right)
