@mods I was so utterly confused why I lost a lot of money on this market. I just realized Guy R didn't resolve No as NO, it's just indefinitely closed. Please resolve No as NO

bought Ṁ50 No NO

@PeterNjeim I don't know why it closed, I reopened it

@GuyR but you already resolved Yes as YES, you need to unresolve it

@GuyR I believe it closed because you made the question and forgot to set the close date to the end of 2024. The default is 1 month I think

@GuyR next time, please don't make a multiple choice market that's the same as a standard yes/no, except when you want to have custom names, like sports teams. In that case, the multiple choice needs to be set as dependent. For this question you made it independent, which means betting on No doesn't move Yes, and vice versa. I've literally been arbitraging it so that it always adds up to 100%. Just want you to know that this market is poorly designed

@GuyR Actually you can salvage this market by resolving No as N/A, and unresolving Yes, then renaming Yes to "No (0%) / Yes (100%)". That would keep everything working smoothly

@PeterNjeim apologies, literally first q I ever made. I have clicked "unresolve" several times and it isn't doing it.

@GuyR maybe the moderators will come and see what they can do

Okay I unresolved the YES-answer. If you really want me to I can resolve the second answer to N/A, but it's not really necessary. Resolving it N/A will undo all trades and return the money, which might bother some traders. Just let it ride out, it's not the end of the world that there are two redundant answers.

...Why is this a multiple choice instead of a yes/no market?

Even then, he could've made it dependent, but deliberately chose independent
