I've got a lot of 'proper date' wagers.
I'm trying to share infohazardous information in a SCIF with influential individuals in the field.
Will anyone that I've added to this list (https://manifold.markets/Krantz/which-proper-date-will-be-the-most?r=S3JhbnR6) take me seriously enough to engage in a 'proper date'?
Will resolve yes if any qualified person (someone that I've listed or defined in a proper date market) actually makes an effort to accommodate the infohazardous transfer of information I'm requesting.
@Krantz Have you considered asking people for their Cheerful Price (https://www.lesswrong.com/posts/MzKKi7niyEqkBPnyu/your-cheerful-price) for something like a two hour videocall (or however long you think it will take you to communicate your ideas)? You could reallocate the time and effort you spend on Manifold towards making money in order to pay their Cheerful Price.
@Primer Yes. That's a conversation that has came up a handful of times over the past 5 years.. I've asked for a cheerful price many times. I've yet to get any of the individuals I'm aiming to speak with to even acknowledge that I exist. It feels like cheerfulness is not for sale.
