Resolves YES if a top 5 smartphone brand by market share is available on sale with a room temperature superconductor in any part of it's composition

Top 5 brands by market share are currently Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo, but I will re-review this when relevant. This restriction is to rule out hobbyists or other small-run shops pushing out something that may technically meet the criteria but is not widely available to verify room temp superconductor claims.

The phone must be on sale, not just up for preorder, and in shops and not just a paper launch.

Room temperature superconductor must be a component of the phone and not the manufacturing process.

Do we really know the composition of all of the parts in any current top brand smartphone?

predicts YES

@2378 It’s a fair point. I am assuming that any vendor is going to be interested in hyping their product with “the first superconductor in a smartphone”. If one is found by third parties without a vendor announcement this will also resolve YES.

I think most of the power used by a smartphone is used by the screen (my phone battery seems to go down faster when the screen is bright) so I guess for that reason I might expect superconducting wires to not really change the energy performance of the phone that much.

predicts YES

why would they not use it

predicts NO

@mkualquiera it's not going into anything high density as integrating it into the process will not be feasible, especially at that time frame, that realistically leaves us with not much, some sensor?

big limit orders at low probabilities!
