With prize points now existing, I should specify that I am counting prize points towards my balance, since they can be easily turned into mana. I don't expect this to matter, since if I run out of mana but still have enough prize points to bring my balance above 1K, I expect that I would just convert the prize points into mana.

In the first day of the pivot, I already spent half of my balance. Things aren't looking good me for me. But with the streak bonuses increasing 10x, it would be pretty hard for my balance to stay below 1000 for a full week. It only takes four days worth of bonuses to bring it back up.
