Update Nov 25: Important clarification - I will be resolving this question at Jan 1st, 2025; a game that has an OpenCritic score of 96 for a period of time during 2024 but not at Jan 1st (for example, because new reviews came out lowering the score) does not count. If it is abundantly clear a game will have a score of 96 or more by Jan 1st, I will consider resolving the question earlier.
