Google was recently found by a federal judge to have a monopoly in the search market. The US Department of Justice is reportedly considering splitting the company up, among other remedies, as a result of the ruling.
This market resolves YES if the proposed remedy by the DOJ involves selling or spinning off any of Alphabet's businesses, regardless of whether they are successful in having the remedy executed.
If no action is taken by the DOJ by close date, this market resolves NO.
