Pretty Cure is a long-running animated series in the magical girl genre. Its heroes transform into powerful alter egos that fight monsters and save the day.
Almost all of these heroes have been girls. The two major exceptions are:
Cure Infini, who was introduced in HUGtto Pretty Cure (2018);
Cure Wing, who was introduced in Hirogaru Sky Pretty Cure (2023).
Also, in the final battle of HUGtto, everyone on Earth is transformed into a Cure, which includes many boys.
The current iteration is called Wonderful Pretty Cure. As of this writing, it has two human girl Cures, a dog, and a cat. The dog and cat are also girls.
Will another Cure be introduced who is a boy?
The Cure must be:
A major character (not the implied billions of background boys in HUGtto)
A new character (not a cameo from a previous generation)
Sincerely a Cure (not as a joke, fantasy sequence, toy production error, etc.)
Resolves NO when it's clear that no more Wonderful media will be released.
Jokes aside, Daifuku has gotten a lot of merchandise and prominence for a character that is supposedly not that important. He even shows up in the movie poster with a body similar to Komugi and Yuki. Considering how Yuki and Mayu are the starting cures and not the mid season, and how there aren’t any other character who could become the mid seasons cure makes me think that Daifuku specifically, and Satoru hopefully, will be the mid season cure(s).

Daifuku and Satoru are prominent male characters, and if anyone turns into a Cure mid-season, it'll probably be them.
