Pretty Cure is a long-running animated series in the magical girl genre. Its heroes transform into powerful alter egos that fight monsters and save the day.
Almost all of these heroes have been girls. The two major exceptions are:
Cure Infini, who was introduced in HUGtto Pretty Cure (2018);
Cure Wing, who was introduced in Hirogaru Sky Pretty Cure (2023).

A new character (not a cameo from a previous generation)
Sincerely a Cure (not as a joke, fantasy sequence, toy production error, etc.)
Resolves NO when the main TV season finishes without a YES resolution.

While Satoru and Daifuku did gain magical forms, they never received a transformation sequence, henshin items, nor were they officially acknowledged as Pretty Cures. So they're in a similar situation as Black Pepper and Diamond Unicorn. So I'm resolving NO.
Jokes aside, Daifuku has gotten a lot of merchandise and prominence for a character that is supposedly not that important. He even shows up in the movie poster with a body similar to Komugi and Yuki. Considering how Yuki and Mayu are the starting cures and not the mid season, and how there aren’t any other character who could become the mid seasons cure makes me think that Daifuku specifically, and Satoru hopefully, will be the mid season cure(s).
