@JuJumper The shift happened because the Danish (who currently have the presidency of the EU council) has been a proponent of Chat Control, and they have started trying to pass a Chat Control proposal. So there's been a lot of talk online about calling representatives to oppose the proposal, which probably made people trade on this market.

But if there's a council president that's trying to push it through, shouldn't that increase the chance? No, because it doesn't have enough support. It can be hard to understand who supports what and how it interacts with the EU law-making process, but that's at least what Pirate Party MEP Markéta Gregorová has said. (source)
