Relational quantum mechanics views the quantum state of system S as existing only relative to some other system S'. State has no objective value outside of an interaction. This purportedly solves the EPR paradox.

Will this view be the mainstream textbook way to present quantum mechanics by the end of 2040?

I will check a number of textbooks in use in major universities in 2040 and resolve accordingly.
